Hosted at Foxcroft Academy in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, Promise to Practice begins on Sunday, August 3 and concludes on Thursday, August 7, 2014. Promise to Practice is all about learning by doing. Participants experience a blend of sessions and facilitated hands-on time, working to create usable iBooks and iTunes U courses by the end of the conference. Registration is $450 and includes all meals. Conference lodging is available in our on-campus, modern, air-conditioned dormitories for $200. Space is limited to 75 participants.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds, less a $50 processing fee, are available until June 1, 2014. Cancellations on or after June 1, 2014 are non-refundable, regardless of payment option selected.

I am the Assistant Head of School for Academics at Foxcroft Academy, the first high school in Maine to implement a 1:1 iPad program with all students and teachers. Since 2011, I've been working with educators locally and globally, leading efforts to integrate iPads in the classroom. In 2012 we began using the newly-announced iTunes U platform and iBooks Author application to enhance our iPad program, and experienced great results that were recognized by learners and educators around the world. Building on that success, I organized an international conference, "From Promise to Practice: Learning with iTunes U" in August 2013. Promise to Practice 2015 will build on that success and help even more educators leverage iTunes U and iBooks Author in the classroom. I hope you'll join us.
